To End All Wars & Joyeux Noel. OK, I especially dig WWII movies.
This is hard--there are so many good ones! My bookshelves hold historical fiction, history, medical, psych, DIY, etc.
I am a classically-trained soprano who fell in love with traditional Scot and Irish music. I listen to a lot of Brit and Irish groups.
I dress pretty low key--usually what I would wear out on the trail, or pretty casual clothes in warm weather. For the big stuff (balls, weddings, etc.), you get the Scottish chick in her clan tartan.
I have a sense of humor and am quick to laugh at humor. I am so fortunate to have some wickedly funny friends, but that doesn't mean you have to do stand-up. Just be you.
I love to hike. Last summer I hiked western Washington--I loved my time at Rainier. I'm currently participating in the Spokane, Washington, chapter of The Mountaineers' two month backpack course so I am more prepared for longer backcountry hikes. This summer I plan to hike Glacier and well as more of Washington.
I enjoy reading, traveling, festivals, faires, and learning.
I've traveled around the ROK (South Korea). I've also seen much of California, Hawaii, and Virginia. I want to explore the UK & Ireland. I hope to have someone to explore it with me. If not, I'll go by myself.
I believe I am more "adaptive" than the majority of Americans.
Being emotionally and spiritually connected makes the physical connection much more meaningful (and sensual).
I'm an INFJ.
Someone who is into personal growth.
