For a 1st date: Dinner. I love to eat & there's nothing like discussion in a public place to see how comfortable you are with another person. I'm hoping to find a spark as I sit across from you that inspires a connection & makes a memory. We'll know if we enjoy each other's company & that is what's important. That being said, it has been a long time since I've dated. I have a pretty relaxed outlook on life (but I'm sure you have a lot of questions). If you aren't offensive to me (or vice versa) I'd say that's a good indication you do as well. I prefer not to be thanked for my service. I'll tell you why, but perhaps not 1st date material. A recent STD test however, may be. Food for thought. I'm looking for someone on this site specifically because I seek that shared experience of a military background that a civilian can't understand. However, my time in the Army was not a positive once. I was a Mortuary Affairs Specialist & was medically discharged for a back injury that continues to hinder my quality of life. I got out about 3 years ago, but still transitioning in a few ways.
