Originally from Hawaii, my adoptive parents took me captive and hauled me to Md. when I was 2-weeks old! Served 8 yrs in the infantry w/ a tour in Iraq. I have ran 2 marathons, but I’m on a recovery break for my ankle and knee. I love the outdoors and all of it's activities: hiking, camping, cycling, Jet-Skiing, motorcycle riding, and yard work. I'm the single father of a 13 year old, who thinks she's my equal. Her mother and I are on good terms. I am divorced; I lost out to a drug addiction and mental health issues, both of which surfaced while I was deployed a few years ago (those issues were hidden from me by her and her family; apparently they thought I could "fix" them). I'm clumsy; I trip going UP stairs. I can bang my head on thin air. If there's a cobweb within 500 yards of me, I will walk into it. I'm fairly intelligent, but I am very capable of doing dumb things. I'm a business analyst and also in the National Guard; neither job is worth writing about, but both have taught me that supervising adults is akin to herding cats. I'm easygoing, but my daughter has yet to challenge my "Daddy voice". I also consider myself a sensual Dominant -- not the cuffs and whips type (although they can be fun), but more in the use of "soft" power (a guiding hand, a soft tone). I prefer the intimacy of the mental and emotional, over the brute force of the physical. And I have a love/fascination with Eastern European culture and languages. So if you would love the challenge of tutoring me I would be eternally grateful! I'm particularly interested in Russian, Ukrainian and Polish.
